I am learning to write to describe a place. We did this thing called... Show, Don't Tell. This is writing except it's descriptive. If you wanted to write down there was a big hill you could say there was a towering hill.
This is my work:
Glossy waves crashing on the crunchy golden sand. Wind whooshing the beautiful clear water on the solid unbreakable rocks. Sensing strong salty air Crumbly sand beneath my feet the water flowing through my hands.
This makes me thankful as my family comes here just to be here with me. Some of them I barely get to see and that’s a time when I get to hangout with them. This makes me feel joyful and lucky. While I’m playing with my cousins jumping around with full excitement with never ending battery.
I like this because I get to learn a new piece of writing and I get to write directive.
